Background
Society for Social Service (SSS) is a non-government, non-political and non-profitable development organization established with the spontaneous initiative of a group of progressive like-minded, energetic, committed and experienced development workers in November 1986.

Vision
Socio-economic emancipation and empowerment of the rural and urban poor, marginalized and disadvantaged people in Bangladesh.

Mission
Stimulate human resource through qualitative and need based programmes, organizing rural and urban disadvantaged, deprived and destitute women, men, adolescents and children ensuring community participation, providing advocacy and networking with the concerned institutions for sustainable development.

Legal Status: Registered under NGO Affairs Bureau, Department of Social Welfare, and Micro credit regulatory authority.
